POCISK S.A. Ammunition Factory
INTRODUCTION
The project to build a 40 mm ammunition factory in Niewiadów is a strategic industrial initiative aimed at creating a modern, integrated production center for medium-caliber ammunition in Poland. The investment addresses the growing needs of the European defense market and strengthens the country’s production capabilities in the area of security and defense.
The project is being carried out by a consortium of entities that combine industrial experience, technological expertise, and investment capital, which enables the effective implementation of advanced manufacturing and operational solutions.
PROJECT OBJECTIVE
The goal of the project is to launch Poland’s first comprehensive 40 mm ammunition production facility, covering the entire manufacturing process—from technology implementation through production to quality control and distribution.
The implementation of the project will make it possible to:
the development of domestic capabilities in the production of medium-caliber ammunition
increasing independence from foreign suppliers
shortening supply chains for customers in Europe
the development of the Polish defense industry
