Fabryka Amunicji Pocisk S.A. is a company carrying out a project to build a modern 40-mm ammunition manufacturing plant in Poland. The project is being developed in collaboration with ST Engineering Advanced Material Engineering Pte. Ltd., based in Singapore—an international partner with expertise in ammunition technology and production.
 
The company is currently carrying out preparatory work related to the launch of production operations, including , among other things, the development of the technological, organizational, and infrastructural capabilities necessary to begin mass production.
 
The planned investment involves the construction of a modern production facility that meets European quality and safety standards, with a target production capacity tailored to the needs of both the domestic market and foreign customers. The project is part of efforts to develop the country’s defense industry potential and strengthen the security of ammunition supplies on the European market.

In accordance with Article 13 of Regulation (EU) 2016/679 of the European Parliament and of the Council of April 27, 2016 (GDPR), we hereby inform you that:

3. Scope of Data Processed

We process your personal data in the following areas:

– first and last name,

– home address,

– identification document number (to the extent required by law),

– other data required by law in connection with the conclusion and execution of transactions,

– information regarding the right to acquire and possess firearms, if required by law.

4. Purposes and Legal Basis for Data Processing

Your personal data is processed for the following purposes:

– to fulfill the sales contract and comply with the documentation requirements related to the sale, including issuing a VAT invoice—pursuant to Article 6(1)(b) and (c) of the GDPR,

– to fulfill the legal obligations incumbent upon the controller, in particular those arising from regulations governing the trade in weapons and ammunition, including record-keeping and reporting obligations – Article 6(1)(c) of the GDPR,

– the transfer of data to the competent authorities, in particular the Police, to the extent and under the conditions set forth in the laws governing the trade in firearms and ammunition – Article 6(1)(c) of the GDPR,

– to fulfill the obligations arising, in particular, from the following provisions:

  • The Act of May 21, 1999, on Weapons and Ammunition (Journal of Laws of 2024, Item 485)

  • Implementing regulations for this Act,

– pursuant to Article 6(1)(c) of the GDPR,

5. Data Recipients

The recipients of your data may include:

– public authorities, in particular the police and other agencies authorized by law,

– entities providing accounting, legal, and IT services to the controller,

– entities that process personal data on behalf of the controller, pursuant to data processing agreements (Article 28 of the GDPR).

6. Data Retention Period

Personal data will be retained for the period required by law, specifically:

– for the duration of the retention period for tax records (generally 5 years),

– for the period specified in the regulations governing the trade in weapons and ammunition,

– until the statute of limitations for claims expires (generally 6 years).

7. Rights of the Data Subject

You have the right to: access your data, have it corrected, restrict its processing, object to its processing (in cases provided for by law), have it erased (in cases provided for by law), transfer your data (to the extent applicable), and file a complaint with the President of the Personal Data Protection Office.

8. Transfer of Data Outside the EEA

Your data is not transferred to third countries (outside the European Economic Area) or to international organizations.

9. Obligation to Provide Information

Providing personal information is mandatory to the extent required by law, particularly laws governing the sale of firearms and ammunition. Failure to provide this information will prevent the transaction from being concluded and completed.

10. Automated Decision-Making

Your data will not be processed automatically, nor will it be subject to profiling.

Personal data is processed in accordance with the principles set forth in Article 5 of the GDPR, in particular the principles of lawfulness, fairness, transparency, and data minimization.
