Your personal data is processed for the following purposes:
– to fulfill the sales contract and comply with the documentation requirements related to the sale, including issuing a VAT invoice—pursuant to Article 6(1)(b) and (c) of the GDPR,
– to fulfill the legal obligations incumbent upon the controller, in particular those arising from regulations governing the trade in weapons and ammunition, including record-keeping and reporting obligations – Article 6(1)(c) of the GDPR,
– the transfer of data to the competent authorities, in particular the Police, to the extent and under the conditions set forth in the laws governing the trade in firearms and ammunition – Article 6(1)(c) of the GDPR,
– to fulfill the obligations arising, in particular, from the following provisions:
The Act of May 21, 1999, on Weapons and Ammunition (Journal of Laws of 2024, Item 485)
Implementing regulations for this Act,
– pursuant to Article 6(1)(c) of the GDPR,
The recipients of your data may include:
– public authorities, in particular the police and other agencies authorized by law,
– entities providing accounting, legal, and IT services to the controller,
– entities that process personal data on behalf of the controller, pursuant to data processing agreements (Article 28 of the GDPR).
Personal data will be retained for the period required by law, specifically:
– for the duration of the retention period for tax records (generally 5 years),
– for the period specified in the regulations governing the trade in weapons and ammunition,
– until the statute of limitations for claims expires (generally 6 years).
You have the right to: access your data, have it corrected, restrict its processing, object to its processing (in cases provided for by law), have it erased (in cases provided for by law), transfer your data (to the extent applicable), and file a complaint with the President of the Personal Data Protection Office.
Your data is not transferred to third countries (outside the European Economic Area) or to international organizations.
Providing personal information is mandatory to the extent required by law, particularly laws governing the sale of firearms and ammunition. Failure to provide this information will prevent the transaction from being concluded and completed.
Your data will not be processed automatically, nor will it be subject to profiling.
